Overview

Ådehlÿ Ÿb Nackyeq was founded durring the early 11th century, by Trgarê Zÿhbafral. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Trgarê Zÿhbafral.

Ådehlÿ Ÿb Nackyeq was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ådehlÿ Ÿb Nackyeq is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Ådehlÿ Ÿb Nackyeq is buildings are built arround a single premissive cobblestone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the town a over all circular shape. The town lacks any defencive features, though certainly constructing even a simple fence or digging a ditch is at the forefront of the 's mind. At least, one would hope so.

A look around Ådehlÿ Ÿb Nackyeq gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. This all rests atop the unmistakable impression the town is one of the strictest places imaginable. Everyone’s actions are clearly directed by laws they keep in heart and mind at all times. Orderly byond order is a phrase which Ådehlÿ Ÿb Nackyeq brings to mind.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Ådehlÿ Ÿb Nackyeq's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

While Ådehlÿ Ÿb Nackyeq might ostensibly be ruled by some other power, real control lies with the senior members of the local craft and labor guilds. Their decisions have the practical weight of law, and much of their time and effort is spent squeezing out competitors and parceling out economic opportunities in the community. Some guilds might have little or nothing to do with their original trade, and now exist purely as shells for political influence.

Ådehlÿ Ÿb Nackyeq's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

Due to the actions of local Kami, summer is long in Ådehlÿ Ÿb Nackyeq.

The Slithering Pit near Ådehlÿ Ÿb Nackyeq are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
